It all begins with a need.
The International Digital Arts Alliance (IDAA) is a non-profit organization co-founded in 2023 in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal by artist-producer Isabella Salas and creative director Alexandre Emond-Turcotte.
IDAA was established to foster a dynamic, sustainable, and inclusive network for artists, technologists, archivists, and institutions working at the intersection of art, culture, and digital innovation. Our mission is to recognize and preserve digital artworks and practices as part of our collective cultural heritage, while enabling new forms of collaboration, mutualization of resources, and community-building across borders.
Through its programs and initiatives, IDAA supports long-term strategies for ecological awareness, digital sobriety, and shared knowledge within the digital arts sector.
